Luong Tung Quang Biography

Born in Vietnam, Luong Tung Quang is the last child in a family consisting of 4 children - all boys! He loves singing ever since childhood but only began his singing career after he migrated to Perth, Australia, with his family. His brother, Cong Tri, sponsored his family. As a side note, Luong Tung Quang’s two other brothers, Cong Tri and Cong Tin, were singers in Vietnam before 1975 (the year Vietnam lost its freedom).

The first band LTQ ever collaborated with at Australia was the band named “Hy Vong” (HOPE). This band had many collaborations with Vietnamese singers in the United States. And then, in 1995, LTQ moved to Sydney, where he continued to participate in various Vietnamese cultural activities.

In 1998, Via the introduction by Quang Kiet and Quang Minh - Hong Dao, LTQ joined Van Son entertainment as a professional singer in the United States. In Van Son, LTQ produced 4 albums, “Cry”, “Neu Da Yeu”, “Cuoc Tinh Danh Mat”, and Ngay Vui Da Den”.

LTQ joined Thuy Nga productions in 2000 through the recommendation by Tung Chau and Chau Ngoc. Ever since, his singing has improved tremendously and his popularity soared. Everywhere he went, hoards of young girls followed.

Beside singing, LTQ also participated in many charities to help the needy. In particular, he’s most memorable about Terry Vo, a young boy whose arms and a leg were crushed after his garage fell on him. LTQ held a concert at Perth to raise money for Terry to seek treatment. The boy’s arms were saved but he lost the leg.

When he toured all over the world, LTQ has many memorable encounters with fans. Apparently because of his spikey hair, many people think they look like him. He remembers a few times young girls would bring their boyfriends or relatives over to him and pointed to him, “Look, my boyfriend/brother looks like you!”

And so those are the treasured memories of his life as a performer. Luong Tung Quang hopes that no matter the ups or downs of life, he can still perform for his fans and share with them his stories in the years to come.

Duong Trieu Vu Biography

Dương Triệu Vũ (born January 1, 1984 in Cam Ranh, Vietnam) is the stage name of Tuấn Linh, a singer on the popular Vietnamese diaspora music show Paris by Night.

Born into a family of six children as the youngest, Tuấn Linh showed an early interest in reading and music, espeically an ability to remember lyrics and music of songs. His parents were originally from Quang Nam province in central Vietnam, but due to economic difficulties, moved to Dong Nai and then to the Mekong Delta city of Cam Ranh, where his mother ran a news agency Phương Trâm.

In 1993, his entire family immigrated to the United States when he was just nine years old, forcing each family member to face the difficulties of living in an unfamiliar country with an unfamiliar language. He was a shy boy, preferring to read rather than socialise. Although Orlando, Florida did not have a large Vietnamese community, the Tết and Tet Trung Thu festivals allowed him to compete in singing competitions. At the 1994 Tet Trung Thu, he won the competition, and completed a hat-trick of victories in the following years. After that he became a soloist, singing at his local church.

When he was 13 years old, he participated in the video recording VanSon 9 with the song “Killing Me Softly with His Song”. While in high school, he regularly participated in school musical productions, and in year 11, he became the first Asian student at his high school to become the Vice President of the student body. He received various awards, including the United states Achievement Academy, American legion award, and was one of 70 students at the school to take the International Baccalaureate. During this time, he also performed with Fantasy, a popular band in Orlando.

In 2004 he sent a demo CD with his singing to the Thuy Nga headquarters, and one week later received a phone call from the director and an invitation to come to California for a vocal test, as they were concerned that compared to the very young appearance in the photograph, the voice was very mature. The result was the announcement that he would make his debut on the stage of Thuy Nga (in Paris by Night). Only a few minutes before this, he announced that he had selected the stage name Dương Triệu Vũ. He has since become a regular cast member.

In January 2006 he released his debut solo album titled Ngày Đó Có Em (You Were There That Day).

Biography
I was born in Dallas, Texas on February 06, 1989. I’m presently  attending at a private school called Park ridge Private School. I fell in love with my dad’s old guitar, and I played absorbedly around with it when I was very young. As I wished, my mom sent me to a Guitar instructor when I was five years old, and I has been taking private guitar lessons from different instructors since then. I had also studied Classical techniques on guitar at the Chapman University School of Music.

In addition to general education and guitar lessons, I have been taking acting classes at the Stage LA Center and Westside Casting Studio. Although I was a child of tender years, I’m very serious about music, and I love my audiences.

I won First Prize at a musical contest, held at the Performing Art Center in 1997.

I did my first national television commercial for the Library of Congress, for which I received the award “Outstanding Young Musician of the year” from the Eagle Award of Excellence in 2000.

I participated in the “Gong Show” contest, conducted by Columbia/Tri-star at “CBS” Hollywood, and won the prize with the maximum score in year 2000. On June 28 2001 I performed for a pilot for “Big TV” on TNN channel. I was featured on FOX 11 news at 10 in 08/11/04, and I was recently on Americas Most Talented Kids on PAX TV. I was recently on Paris by Night concerts in San Jose for video 75.

Additionally, I have performed for many Fund Raising Campaigns for charities and/or researches in California, at which each and every time I performed, I filled my audiences with wonder and received salvoes of applauses. I have also performed for several Private Clubs including the Largo Club in Beverly Hills, and recently for Junior Achievement Awards in Beverly Hilton Hotel in LA.

I was recently featured on the cover of the Los Angeles Times, Calendar Section and in the Creative Child Magazine in 2000.
